Capnolog press kit

Capnolog is a phone app that lets a resident log an ACGME case in seconds and holds no patient data.

Boilerplate

Capnolog is a case-logging app for residents and fellows. A case goes in on the phone seconds after the case ends. The app counts the log against the published ACGME minimums and national averages for that specialty. The log is de-identified by design, with no field for a name, a medical record number, or a birthday. A browser extension prefills the resident's official ACGME Case Log form, one case at a time. In anesthesiology, Capnolog 1.3.0 also fills ACGME's form from the iPhone. Either way, the resident checks every field, then presses Submit. Capnolog covers anesthesiology and neurological surgery, plus fellowship packs for five anesthesia subspecialties.
