The night-before planner gets tomorrow's OR board out of your head and onto your phone. Build tomorrow's cases once, and each one is ready to log the moment it's done.

   Build tomorrow's board

   Open the planner and add tomorrow's cases, or paste the morning OR board and Capnolog makes one plan for each case. The default date is tomorrow, so you're set up in seconds.

   Start from a template — or your usual drugs

   Pick a template so the anesthetic, lines, and role are pre-filled. Once you've planned a few of a kind of case, Capnolog learns your regimen. Tap “Apply my usual drugs” to fill in all five drug lines, from pre-op through post-op, at once.

   Or dictate the whole plan, hands-free

   Tap the mic and speak the plan in one go — from the room and attending through your post-op drugs. The plan moves to the next line as you talk, and you can say “next,” “back,” or “skip.” Every word is parsed on your phone.

   Pick, don't type

   You pick the room, the site, and the attending from your own lists, and each drug is one tap. There is nothing to type by hand at 9 PM.

   Patient details stay encrypted and private

   Anything patient-specific lives in an encrypted block, separate from your de-identified log. It's never part of a shared file or your ACGME export. It leaves your phone only inside your own backup, readable by you alone. That's an end-to-end-encrypted iCloud backup on iPhone, or an encrypted file in a folder you pick on Android.

   Log it tomorrow

   When the case is done, confirm it to log a de-identified case in one tap. When several are ready, tap “Log all ready” to log the whole day at once. It only includes cases that are complete and dated today, so nothing logs by accident.

   Confirming a plan logs the case and then erases the structured patient block, history, and diagnosis the moment you log. The free-text procedure name and your plan notes are kept for review, so keep patient identifiers out of both.

A plan only counts toward your totals once you've logged it — planning never inflates your numbers. Planning is free for 30 days from your first plan, then part of Capnolog Premium.
